Marilyn Gilbert-Mitchell, MA, MEd, MEd, is an accomplished educational leader and consultant with extensive experience in academic and community settings. Serving as the Owner and Educational Consultant at MGM College Services LLC since October 2019, Marilyn specializes in college planning and support for students from 7th grade through senior year. As a Girl Scout Leader since 2001, Marilyn engages in youth development by guiding multiple troops in building critical life skills. Previous roles include National Staff Developer at AVID Center, where Marilyn facilitated professional training for educators across over 30 states, and High School Teacher at Chicago Public Schools, where over 200 students received substantial scholarship awards under Marilyn's guidance. With advanced degrees in education and English, alongside a diverse background in teaching, program management, and community engagement, Marilyn is dedicated to empowering students and educators alike to achieve academic success.
