Anne Nordness Smith

Anne Nordness Smith has extensive work experience in the field of real estate management and development. Anne recently served as the Senior Vice President of Property Strategy at Girl Scouts of the USA, where they were responsible for managing a $1B-plus portfolio of over 1000 properties and outdoor spaces. In this role, they led a team of 50-plus individuals and implemented innovative strategies to accelerate organizational growth and maximize asset value. Prior to this, Anne was the Vice President of Property Strategy at the same organization, where they successfully elevated and professionalized the real estate function. Before joining Girl Scouts of the USA, Anne worked as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner at Salita Development, where they oversaw several multi-million-dollar real estate developments. Anne has also gained experience as an Assistant Editor at Congressional Quarterly.

Anne Nordness Smith received their Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in the Honors Program in the College of Arts and Sciences in 2000. Anne later pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Colorado Denver starting in 2005.
