Erin Barkan

Sr. Director, Planning & Operations, Program Office at Girl Scouts of the USA

Erin Barkan has a diverse work experience ranging from nonprofit organizations to the Girl Scouts of the USA. Erin started in 2007 as a Case Manager at ICL, and later took on roles such as Director of Outreach & Communications at Elders Share the Arts in 2008 and Coordinator at Haym Salomon Arts in 2009. From 2011 to 2015, Erin served as the Director of Haym Salomon Arts / Internship & Volunteer Services at FEGS. Erin then joined the Girl Scouts of the USA, where they held positions including Operations Manager in the Customer Office from 2015 to 2017, Senior Manager in Planning & Operations in the Customer Office from 2017 to 2019, and ultimately Senior Director in Planning & Operations in the Program Office from 2019 onwards.

Erin Barkan received a Bachelor's Degree in American History from Syracuse University in 2005. Afterward, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University - Columbia School of Social Work, completing their studies in 2008.
