Sydney Mooney

Sydney Mooney is an experienced recreation professional currently serving as a Recreation Supervisor for the Town of Perinton since May 2022. With a strong background in adventure programming as the Lead Ropes Course Facilitator for the Girl Scouts of Western New York since September 2013, Sydney has focused on empowering girls aged 6-18 through self-esteem and confidence-building activities. Previous roles include Assistant General Manager at Goldfish Swim School, Pool Recreation Supervisor for Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District, Recreation Supervisor for the Town of Pittsford, and Recreation Supervisor at Coordinated Care Services, Inc. Sydney's experience also includes providing Medicaid Waiver services to youth in foster care during a tenure at Hillside Family of Agencies. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from the State University of New York Cortland and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College.
