Lauren Um

Lauren Um's work experience includes being an Investment Intern at Polar Asset Management Partners Inc. starting in 2023, a Research Analyst at Cultivaze Consulting from November 2022, an AVP Finance at Beyond the Books Western starting in October 2022, and a VP External Affairs for Western Affiliation at Girl Up, United Nations Foundation from April 2022. Lauren also worked as a Store Administrator at Pusateri's Fine Foods from May to August 2022 and as a Mathematics Instructor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center from August 2020 to August 2021. Additionally, Lauren has held various roles in volunteer organizations such as First Year Committee Member at Collegiate Leadership Competition, First Year Representative at Charity Chords Western, and General Member at The Pre-Business Students' Network (PBSN).

Lauren Um completed their education history as follows:

From 2017 to 2021, Lauren attended De La Salle College "Oaklands" where they obtained their High School Diploma.

Starting in 2021, Lauren enrolled at Western University to pursue a Bachelor's degree. Lauren completed their studies in Management and Organizational Studies from 2021 to 2023.

During their time at Western University, in 2023, Lauren attended the Ivey Business School to gain specialized knowledge in Women in Asset Management.

In the same year, Lauren also pursued an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree at the Ivey Business School at Western University. This program spanned from 2023 to 2025.

To further enhance their qualifications, Lauren obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification from Bloomberg in May 2023.
