Ethar Hussein is a dedicated computer science student at The Grainger College of Engineering, specializing in software engineering. Currently serving as the Founder of FURSA at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Ethar has developed user-centric websites and secured a grant from the AWARE initiative. Experience includes participation in prestigious programs such as the Silicon Valley Entrepreneurship Program and a Computer Science Research Mentorship at Google. Ethar has also collaborated with several organizations, including Mudder AI and Discover Financial Services, focusing on data analysis and software development. Notable achievements include winning multiple awards at hackathons, leading teaching efforts with Girls Who Code, and conducting research on complex AI topics.
