Bijal Rama

Bijal Rama is currently the Head of Public Audience Research at nfpResearch, a position held since March 2022. With a long-standing commitment to Girlguiding, Bijal serves as a Guide and Brownie Leader since December 2008, planning activities for children and organizing trips while ensuring compliance with budget and safety regulations. Additionally, Bijal is a member of the National Girlguiding Advocate committee, focused on researching and campaigning for the issues affecting girls and young women. Previous experience includes an English as a Second Language Teacher at Kuryong Elementary School and a progressive career at nfpSynergy, where roles ranged from Research Assistant to Head of Public Audience Research. Bijal also gained experience in fundraising and marketing through internships at Friends of the Earth Scotland and Crimestoppers Trust. Bijal holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography from The University of Edinburgh, obtained in 2013.
