Bronach Hughes, MBE, is a dedicated volunteer and experienced educator with a rich history in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently retired since June 2025, Bronach has been actively involved with Girlguiding since January 1996, serving as a Brownie Leader, Trainer, and Lead Volunteer for Learning and Development in Scotland and Dunbartonshire. Previously, Bronach coordinated the Pyramid Programme at the University of West London from April 2013 to June 2025, promoting effective interventions for children. Leadership experience also includes serving as Chair of The Ember Learning Trust from September 2019 to July 2022 and as Chair of Governors at Thames Ditton Junior School from November 1998 to July 2022. Earlier career roles include Emotional Health and Wellbeing Coordinator at ContinYou and London Regional Manager at the National Pyramid Trust, along with significant procurement experience at BT. Bronach holds a Post-graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, an MBA, and a BA Hons in French and Philosophy.
