Girlguiding
Catherine Murray is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as the Corporate Communications Manager for Girlguiding, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate narrative, crisis communications, and equity, diversity, and inclusion strategies. Prior to this role, Catherine held the position of Head of Communications at Target Ovarian Cancer, leading various communications campaigns and overseeing media relations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Press Officer and Communications Assistant at Girlguiding, and as an English language lecturer at Université de Lorraine. Catherine's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Birmingham, along with ERASMUS studies in Germany and Spain. Additionally, Catherine has contributed as a Trustee for St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity, focused on assisting the homeless and vulnerably housed.
