John Pether

John Pether is an experienced finance and systems professional with a strong background in accounting and financial systems analysis. Currently serving as a Systems Accountant at Girlguiding since January 2022, John previously held the position of Finance and Systems Accountant at Chorley Council from May 2019 to January 2022, where expertise in Capita, Icon, and Allpay software was leveraged. Additional experience includes a volunteer role at Walton Lea Partnership Limited, an 8-week placement with Weaver Vale Housing Trust, and serving as Secretary and Trustee for Warrington Masonic Museum. John also has extensive experience as a Systems Analyst in various organizations, including Premier International Foods and Churchill China plc, and has a BSc Hons in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
