Rae Watney

Rae Watney is a highly experienced environmental professional currently serving as a Senior Land Quality Officer at Sheffield City Council since July 2022. With a strong background in contaminated land, Rae previously held the position of Senior Technical Officer at Leeds City Council from October 2019 to July 2022. Rae's career includes extensive consulting experience at WSP in the UK, where roles spanned from Consultant to Graduate Consultant between February 2014 and September 2019. In addition to professional expertise, Rae has been a Guide Leader for Girlguiding UK since May 2009, coordinating activities and fostering teamwork among young participants. Rae holds an MSci in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol.
