Cyreena Boston Ashby has an extensive work experience history. Cyreena is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest, where they lead the organization in empowering girls and youth. Prior to this role, they served as the Interim Executive Director of the same organization.

Ashby has also held various positions at Hilltop Public Solutions, including Of Counsel, Partner, and Principal. At Shatter LLC, a political consulting firm, they served as a Partner, providing general consulting, finance, and fundraising services.

Additionally, Ashby has contributed to the healthcare sector as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Northwest Health Foundation and as a member of the Board of Directors of Health Share of Oregon. Cyreena has also served as the CEO and Chief Operating Officer of Oregon Public Health Institute, where they focused on building a future where preventive health is valued.

Ashby is a Leadership Foundation Fellow at the International Women's Forum, which provided their with intensive leadership training. Cyreena has also worked as a Consultant, providing public affairs and executive consulting services. Earlier in their career, they served as the Executive Director of Imagine Black (fka Portland African American Leadership Forum) and as the Deputy Director at the State of Oregon.

Cyreena Boston Ashby completed their Executive Education at Harvard Business School in 2019. Cyreena also pursued Executive Education at INSEAD the same year. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Spelman College from 1998 to 2002.
