Maryam Oguntola is an experienced professional with a background in mentoring, research, and communication. Currently serving as a mentee at Girls Write Now since October 2022, Maryam focuses on developing writing and professional skills. Previous roles include Peer Success Coach and Research Fellow at John Jay College (CUNY), where Maryam organized and analyzed group interviews to address community issues in New York City. Other notable experiences include a judicial internship at the New York State Supreme Court, logistics and engagement curation at TEDxCUNY, and a college internship at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. Additionally, Maryam worked as a student counselor at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, providing mentorship to youth participants. Educated in Law & Society at John Jay College, with further studies at the University of Miami School of Law and CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, Maryam has developed a strong foundation in law and community engagement.
