Robin Buschmann, CFA

Robin Buschmann, CFA has a diverse background in the financial industry with experience in various roles at different companies. Starting in 2022, Robin works at Allianz Global Investors as the Head of Equity & Multi Asset Solutions, and previously held the position of Head of Equity & Alternatives Transformation in the same company. In 2019, Robin served as a Director of Digital Transformation at Commerzbank AG. Prior to that, Robin worked as a Fintech Consultant at TechQuartier in 2018 and served on the Projektausschuss Digital Banking at Bankenverband from 2017 to 2018. Robin also played a significant role as a founding member and lobbyist for the crowdfunding community at the Bundesverband Crowdfunding - German Crowdfunding Association from 2015 to 2018. Before that, Robin worked as a Senior Investment Manager at Deutsche Bank from 2008 to 2013. Robin also has experience at J.P. Morgan as a Sales & Structuring professional, Deutsche Bahn as a Corporate Strategy Analyst, and BNP Paribas as an Internet Analyst for Cetelem Bank, all in the earlier stages of Robin's career. Additionally, Robin has founded and managed GIROMATCH GmbH, a successful fintech company that Robin led from inception to profitability, negotiating and executing outsourcing contracts with banks and making significant contributions to the Fintech scene as a speaker and innovator.

Robin Buschmann, CFA has a Master's degree in Finance from the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, which they obtained between 2006 and 2008. In 2007, they also attended the Nanyang Technological University Singapore, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study there. Prior to their master's degree, Robin earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from The Berlin School of Economics and Law from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, Robin Buschmann obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2012.
