Lydia Schirano has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2012, they started their career as a Receptionist and Customer Service representative at Group Marketing Services, Inc. Lydia then went on to work as a Youth Enrichment Program Intern at Heartland Community College in 2016.
In 2015, Lydia joined Rachael Schirano Photography as an Assistant and Second Photographer, a role they held until 2017. Lydia also served as a Project RISE Peer Mentor at Heartland Community College from 2017 to 2018.
Lydia's experience at Illinois State University includes roles such as Academic Peer Advisor, Preview Student Assistant, and Transfer Student Assistant, from 2016 to 2018.
Lydia also worked as an Assistant Coach at Illini Elite Vbc in 2018. In the same year, they joined Chestnut Health Systems as a First Episode Psychosis Project Representative.
Most recently, Lydia has been at GIS Benefits, Inc. since 2019, where they started as a Client Service Specialist and currently holds the position of Renewal Coordinator.
Lydia Schirano obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Interpersonal Communication from Illinois State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Bradley University, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from 2019 to 2022.
