Dan Percival has a diverse work experience in the field of surveying and laser scanning. Dan worked as a Survey Party Chief at GIS Surveyors, Inc. from April 2019 to the present, where they conducted terrestrial laser scanning of electric utility poles and overhead power lines, as well as survey network control for airbourne photogrammetry and LIDAR. Prior to this, they were a Survey Party Chief at Tetra Tech from October 2017 to March 2019, where they were responsible for field activities such as laser scanning and network control for mobile mapping and aerial photogrammetry. Dan also worked at INOVX Solutions - A Visionaize Company from October 2012 to October 2017 as a Terrestrial Surveying Laser Scanning Specialist, leading field survey and laser scanning activities and processing data to produce final deliverables. Before that, they were an Administrator at the Center for Innovative Public Health Research from August 2010 to September 2012, managing relationships with clients and executing healthcare research projects. Dan also worked as a Terrestrial Surveying Laser Scanning Specialist at INOVX Solutions - A Visionaize Company from July 2006 to August 2010, performing various survey activities both locally and internationally. Prior to that, they were a Surveying Technician at Meridian Surveying Engineering Inc. for a brief period in 2006.
Dan Percival attended Santa Rosa Junior College from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Civil & Surveying Technology. During this time, they obtained a certification as an LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training) from the Board For Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in June 2006.
