James Mashiri

James Mashiri is a civil engineer with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors, currently employed at Gisborne District Council since December 2022. Prior to this role, James served as a Construction Project Manager at Amajuda Civils, where responsibilities included overseeing the installation of water and sewer networks in the Johannesburg area and managing gas installation projects for Majuba College campuses. James also worked as a Site Engineer at Murray and Roberts Zimbabwe, contributing to the construction of significant projects such as the Old Mutual Shopping Mall and various water storage facilities. Previous experience includes a position as a Civil/Structural Design Engineer at SSCT Consulting Engineers, focusing on telecommunication tower design. James began the professional journey as a civil engineering intern at SDP Africa Consulting Engineers and holds a B.Eng in Civil and Water Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology.
