Michaela Kocar

Michaela Kocar is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Team Leader for Management Accounting at Gisborne District Council since October 2019. Previously, Michaela held various accounting roles at Costain Group PLC from December 2015 to October 2019, including Head Office Accountant. Earlier experience includes working as a Business/Financial Analyst at American Airlines from July 2013 to November 2015, where responsibilities expanded from accounts payable in the UK market. Michaela's career began as a Finance Assistant at the Commonwealth Secretariat and as Accounts Receivable at BMC Group. Michaela holds an ACCA qualification in Accounting and Finance obtained from 2013 to 2018 and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Prague University of Economics and Business, completed in 2011.
