Monika Sandberg

Monika Sandberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Monika currently holds the position of Corporate Treasurer and Managing Director at Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce - New York from September 2018 to April 2023.

Monika's previous roles include Senior Vice President, Treasurer at Skanska in the US from April 2008 to December 2021, where they were responsible for treasury operations, cash management, and trade finance. Monika demonstrated expertise in establishing and managing cash pooling structures, banking facilities, liquidity management, cash flow analysis, and more. Monika also served as the Head of Cash Management, Skanska Group from January 2004 to April 2008, overseeing all aspects of central cash management for the company.

Furthermore, Monika held the position of Treasurer at Skanska Poland from January 2001 to February 2004, where they managed treasury activities. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Accountant in Sri Lanka for Skanska International Civil Engineering from 1999 to 2001. Monika also has experience as a Project Finance Manager at Skanska AB from 1997 to 1999, and as a Real Estate Agent at Sparbankernas Fastighetsbyrå from 1994 to 1995.

Monika Sandberg's education history is as follows:

From 1992 to 1996, Monika attended Stockholm University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance.

In 2008 and 2009, Monika participated in the Skanska Leadership Program in the US, where they pursued a certification in Executive to Leader (E2L) in General Management.

In 2022, Monika enrolled in a program at Colombia Business School and completed a course on Personal Leadership and Success as part of their executive education.

Also in 2022, Monika attended NYU Stern Executive Education for a program in Corporate Sustainability: ESG. Monika obtained a certification in CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY: ESG MINDSET from NYU Stern School of Business in January 2022.
