Alexis Lucio

Alexis Lucio is a Senior Product Designer specializing in Design Systems and Accessibility at GitHub since August 2022. Key responsibilities include developing accessibility design education programs, serving as a subject matter expert for accessibility within feature teams, and collaborating with accessibility engineers. Previously, as Senior Accessibility Lead at Splunk, Alexis conducted audits, led a team of accessibility advocates, and developed an accessibility design toolkit. Alexis has extensive experience in user experience design and education, having worked in various roles, including UX Designer at Sysdig and Envestnet | Yodlee. An advocate for community engagement, Alexis served in multiple leadership positions with Inneract Project and contributed to the design field through speaking engagements at major accessibility conferences. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Product Design from Stanford University.
