Joseph Yarsiah

Joseph Yarsiah serves as the Country Director at GiveDirectly, a position held since January 2023. Previously, from April 2019 to January 2023, Yarsiah was the Rapid Response Roving Manager at Save the Children International, contributing significantly to programming and project management across Nigeria, including budget oversight for major initiatives. With a solid background in operational leadership, Yarsiah has also held various roles such as Country Manager in Liberia and International Consultant with the Rights and Rice Foundation. Yarsiah possesses a Master's degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Economics from African Methodist Episcopal University.
