Terry Bellinghausen

Terry Bellinghausen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Terry currently serves as the QA Lead at Givelify since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior QA at Givelify from September 2020 to March 2022.

From June 2016 to June 2020, Terry worked at Pier 1 as a QA Test Engineer. In this role, they led a QA team responsible for testing the e-commerce site, point of sale systems, and back-end databases. Terry also contributed as a dev-ops test engineer on a scrum team practicing agile methodology. Terry's responsibilities included running SQL scripts, using SOAP UI for web services testing, performing automated testing with tools like Selenium and Maven, and integrating manual tests into an automated testing system.

Before joining Pier 1, Terry worked at Fidelity Investments as a QA Engineer from June 2011 to May 2016. Terry led a QA team that tested a cloud-based SharePoint application used by thousands of users. As a scrum team lead, Terry practiced agile methodology and played a key role in automating the majority of the regression test case suite. Terry also wrote automated test scripts in Microsoft Visual Studio, performed code reviews, and recommended strategies to improve test plans and processes.

Terry's earlier work experience includes owning and managing Simple Treasures Photography from October 2007 to June 2011. Additionally, they worked at Verizon as a Technical Subject Matter Expert from an unspecified time in 2004 until 2007.

Terry Bellinghausen holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Politics/Economics from The University of Dallas. Prior to that, Terry attended LD Bell High School. Additionally, Terry has obtained a certification in the Emerging Leaders Series from ADVISA in February 2022.
