Blaine Weiss has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. They started their career in 2015 as a Radio Program Host at KDAWG College Radio. In 2016, they worked as a General and Visual Arts Editor at the University of Redlands, where they oversaw the layout and theme of a literary magazine. They also interned at the Palm Springs International Film Society as a Programming Intern during the same year. In 2016, they served as the Junior Counselor Director at Gold Arrow Camp, supervising participants and managing schedules and activities. They also worked as a Membership Engagement Representative at the YMCA of Greater Seattle. From 2017 to 2018, they took on the role of an Assistant Instructor at the North Carolina Outward Bound School, providing counseling and support to students on a wilderness expedition. They continued with the same organization from 2018 to 2020 as a Lead Instructor for At-risk Youth Programming. In 2021, they worked as a Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC, Inc. and currently hold the position of a Sales Marketing Coordinator at Givens Gerber Park since 2022.
Blaine Weiss completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Visual Media Studies from the University of Redlands between 2012 and 2016. In 2014, they also attended Florence University of the Arts for a brief period but did not obtain a degree there. Additionally, Blaine has obtained several certifications including CPR/Lifeguard/AED/First-Aid and Wilderness First Responder from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in May 2019, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute in December 2018.
