Chris Staines

Chris Staines is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at GIVIT.org.au and Encircle Community Services Ltd., Chris has demonstrated a commitment to community service and leadership since 2021. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Delegation for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, where Chris held roles from 2009 to 2019 and contributed to disaster risk reduction and quality accountability initiatives. Chris also held the position of General Manager of Tsunami Response at Australian Red Cross from 2005 to 2009. Academic credentials include a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Central Queensland University, complemented by education at Griffith University.
