Ferdi Nell

Ferdi Nell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and management within the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Strategy Advisor for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since October 2024, Ferdi previously held roles as Country Coordinator for GET.invest and GET.transform in eSwatini from May 2022 to October 2024. Ferdi's prior positions include Director at Growth Focused services, Managing Director of Africa at Aurecon, and Chief Executive Officer at NETGroup Solutions. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering from the University of Pretoria and executive coaching credentials from the University of Cape Town, Ferdi has also contributed as a technical advisor to the World Bank Group and has a notable history with ESKOM in various engineering roles. Ferdi is a Certified Director® at the Institute of Directors in South Africa (IoDSA).
