Hayat Mohammed

Hayat Mohammed is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in the insurance and academic sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Gjensidige since January 2014, Hayat has held several analytical roles within the Modelling Nordic Division, and previously in the Analytics Division. Prior to this, Hayat worked as an Analyst at If Insurance Baltic and held research positions at the University of Oslo and Université Grenoble Alpes. Hayat's academic background includes a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Oslo, bolstered by a Master's degree in Statistics and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Addis Ababa University. Hayat has a rich teaching history and early experience as a junior statistician with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
