Kim Wikan Barth has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, particularly with Gjensidige and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA. They began their career as a Trainee, working on various projects related to branding, concept development, organization development, and HR. Kim then took on the role of Product Manager for Personal Insurance in the Organizational Market at Gjensidige NOR. They were responsible for profitability and product development.

Moving to Gjensidige Forsikring ASA, Kim held several positions, including Acting Head of Sponsorships. They also established and led the Channel Management Claims unit, responsible for optimizing service processes. Additionally, Kim undertook the role of Project Manager for a corporate change program focused on customer orientation. This program aimed to align with the company's strategic goals and reported directly to the CEO and top management.

Most recently, Kim has held leadership positions at Gjensidige, such as Head of Brand and Brand Experience and Director of Innovation, Growth, and New Services. In these roles, they were responsible for brand management, brand strategy development, customer experience improvement, and innovation. Currently, Kim serves as the SVP of Growth and New Services, overseeing the company's expansion and development of new offerings.

Kim Wikan Barth completed a Master's degree in Advertising and Marketing at the University of Leeds from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, they pursued a Cand.mag degree at the Universitetet i Oslo with a focus on Mellomfag Medievitenskap and Mellomfag Sosialantropologi.
