Rico Christiansen

Rico Christiansen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in recourse and liability within the insurance sector, currently serving as Head of Legal Recourse at Gjensidige since 2010. Rico holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and is a qualified lawyer, specializing in areas including property law, obligation law, finance law, and private law enforcement. Previous roles include Business Mentor at Dansk Flygtningehjælp, where support was provided to young refugees, and CUNY Startup Fellow, focusing on customer-centered business development. Rico has also served as a legal counselor in various capacities, addressing issues ranging from rental agreements to family law, and has experience in humanitarian efforts through volunteer work in Cambodia and South Africa. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Southern Denmark, complemented by a finance degree from Aarhus Business College.
