Shahar Shamai

Shahar Shamai has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Shahar is currently the Co-founder and CTO at GK8, a company that provides a comprehensive platform for managing blockchain-based assets. Under their leadership, GK8 developed the world's first true Cold Vault, which allows secure blockchain transactions without internet connectivity. Shahar also implemented a proprietary patented MPC algorithm that offers automatic co-signers, eliminating any single point of failure.

Prior to their current role, Shahar worked as a Cybersecurity Expert at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from 2013 to 2018. Shahar contributed their expertise in cybersecurity to support and protect the Prime Minister's office.

In 2016 to 2017, Shahar served as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University. This role allowed him to leverage their knowledge and skills to assist students in their learning process.

Earlier in their career, Shahar worked at AA Lab Systems as a Hardware specialist from 2010 to 2013.

Shahar Shamai has a strong educational background in the field of Computer Science. Shahar first pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from The College of Management Academic Studies, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following this, Shahar went on to further enhance their expertise by completing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University between 2014 and 2018.
