Shahin Timdarazar

Shahin Timdarazar has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles across various companies and regions. Currently serving as General Counsel, Corporate at GKN Automotive since January 2019, Shahin is responsible for all legal and compliance matters in EMEA and APAC. Previously, Shahin held the position of General Counsel for Europe at GKN Automotive and served as Associate General Counsel EMEA and Compliance Officer EMEA at Tenneco from October 2014 to December 2018. Prior legal roles include Legal Counsel for Europe at Medline Industries, Legal Consultant at DB Schenker, and Research Associate at Blesinger Wischermann & Partner. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Commercial Law from Universität des Saarlandes, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Commercial Law from Westfälische Hochschule, certifications in Compliance and M&A Management from the University of Augsburg and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, respectively.
