Jad El-Zir

Jad EL-Zir is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as a GPC Engineer specializing in Direct Metal Laser Sintering at GKN Powder Metallurgy since February 2024, Jad notably led the production of metal additive manufacturing in North America and successfully contributed to two fully PPAP-approved programs. Previously, as an Application Engineer at Xometry from March 2021 to May 2023, Jad provided technical consultation and employed validation techniques for a diverse range of clients. Throughout a tenure at Stratasys Direct Manufacturing from August 2015 to July 2020, management of full-cycle additive manufacturing projects and optimization of build parameters were key responsibilities. Early career experience at DASI Solutions involved technical support and consulting in design and engineering. Jad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Lawrence Technological University and an Associate's Degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology from Oakland Community College.
