Kevin Gatecliff

Kevin Gatecliff is a highly experienced Senior Materials and Process Engineer with a specialization in welding, currently employed at GKN Aerospace since November 2021. With a career spanning over three decades, Kevin has held significant engineering roles at various respected companies including Radius Aerospace, STADCO, and Senior Aerospace Ketema. Kevin has developed and qualified numerous welding procedures, particularly in Electron Beam Welding (EBW), and has been instrumental in ensuring compliance and certification standards across aerospace projects. Kevin’s expertise extends across several welding processes including GTAW and CNC programming, contributing to the successful production of high-quality components in both commercial and aerospace sectors. Kevin's journey began at Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, leading to a solid foundation in welding technologies and methodologies that have been a passion throughout the professional career.
