Pete Tompkins

Pete Tompkins is an experienced professional in quality systems and regulatory compliance within the aerospace and medical device manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance Lead at GKN Aerospace since August 2022, Pete liaises with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance across UK and EU sites. Previously, Pete held key roles at Safran Landing Systems, including Quality Manager and Regulatory Compliance Manager, managing QMS and compliance requirements for landing gear manufacturing. Earlier experience includes serving as In-House Quality Coordinator at Dowty Propellers, providing regulatory compliance support, and as Quality Assurance Support at South Marston Distribution Centre. Pete began the career as a Medical Device Manufacturing Team Leader at Gambro BCT, overseeing the assembly of medical equipment in cleanroom environments.
