Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is a highly experienced aerospace professional currently serving as a Technical Fellow at GKN Aerospace, where responsibilities include roles such as Director of New Air Vehicle Concepts and Chief Engineer for Hybrid & Electric Aircraft. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Fokker Technologies Holding B.V. as Head of Electrical Systems R&T and Chief Engineer, as well as a Consultant Aeronautical Engineer role at Airbus Group. Simon began their career at BAE Systems as a Senior Aircraft Configuration Designer. Simon holds a Master of Engineering (MEng. Hons) in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University and 'A' Levels in Pure Math, Applied Math, Physics, and Computer Science from South Devon Technical College.
