Elsa Nunes

Elsa Nunes, SPHR, SHRM-CP, has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the Human Resources field. Elsa began their career in 1991 as a Pension Systems Administrator & Specialist at W.R. Grace. From there, they worked at John W. Henry & Company, Inc. as a Human Resources Administrator until 2000. In 2000, they joined SBA Communications as a Sales & Marketing Specialist for a year. Nunes then moved on to Forest Pharmaceutical, where they served as a Sales Representative from 1998 until 2002. In 2002, they joined GL Homes as a Human Resources Manager, a role they held until 2022. Since 2023, Elsa Nunes has been serving as the Human Resources Director at GL Homes.

Elsa Nunes, SPHR, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Elsa then pursued a PHR Certification Course, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, at Florida Atlantic University, completing the program in 2012.

Elsa also holds certifications from HR Certification Institute (HRCI), such as the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) obtained in 2012, and they are currently working towards obtaining the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI by 2023.
