Christel S. Miller was born in Los Angeles and went to school at Rice University where she majored in Art, Women's Studies, and Psychology. After college, Christel earned a MFA at UCLA and worked at Showtime Networks before she was accepted into the prestigious NBC Entertainment Associates Program. In 2012, Christel was awarded with Power Up’s Rising Star Award along with NBCU‘s Going The Extra Mile Award. She is the network executive on Grimm, Parenthood, Mysteries of Laura, Night Shift, Shades of Blue, & Emerald City. Christel is married to her college sweetheart and they are raising their two children in Silverlake.
