Greg Wamsley, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Greg currently serves as the SVP, Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Glacier Bancorp, Inc. Prior to this role, they held various leadership positions at First Interstate Bank, including SVP, Director of Mortgage Lending, where they managed the Home Loans team and had responsibility for loan originations and strategic operations. Before entering the banking industry, they worked at CyberOptics in roles such as Product Manager, Marketing, and Software Test Engineer/Manager.

Greg Wamsley, CFA, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman, which they earned from 1988 to 1992. Greg then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from the University of Tennessee Space Institute from 1992 to 1994. Seeking to expand their knowledge in finance, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management between 1997 and 2001. In 2008, Greg obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Additionally, they completed the course "Dan Ariely on Making Decisions" offered by LinkedIn in 2022. Greg is currently enrolled in Pacific Coast Banking School, where they are pursuing studies in Banking and Financial Support Services, set to be completed in 2022.
