Sam Felton

Sam Felton has had a long and varied work experience. Sam began their career in 1994 as a contractor for GMIS, where they built an in-flight telephone application using C++ and Windows 3.11. In 1999 they joined Motorola as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they migrated phone interface code from TDMA platform to CDMA platform and led a team of engineers on many Telematics projects. In 2003 they moved to CoCo Communications as an RF Lead, where they designed and built original bridge hardware for RF bridge product line. In 2005 they joined Comsys as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they were the data model manager for the SLATE project and wrote code in Python and TCL. In 2007 they began working as a Senior Consultant for Microsoft, where they were an embedded SME and built a self-checkout system for Costco using C, C++ and Windows Embedded Standard OS. In 2009 they became the CTO of Glacier Peak Technology LLC, where they developed an embedded platform which was self-healing, self-optimizing and extremely compact. In 2012 they co-founded Green On Green Energy, where they are currently developing an environmentally-friendly energy storage and capture technology.

Sam Felton attended Seattle Pacific University from 1983 to 1985.
