Gerardo Valdes

Gerardo Valdes has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Gerardo is currently the Senior Vice President of Commercial Development at Aleon Renewable Metals, where they are responsible for managing an integrated lithium-ion battery recycler and supplier of high purity cathode precursors. Prior to this, they served as the Senior VP of Metal Sales & Catalyst Recycling Services at Gladieux Metals Recycling.

Before joining Gladieux Metals Recycling, Gerardo worked at Gulf Chemical & Metallurgical Corp., where they held several roles, including VP of Metal Sales & Catalyst Recycling Services, Director of Metal Sales & Catalyst Recycling Services, Metal Sales & Catalyst Recycling Service Manager, and Purchasing Manager.

Gerardo also gained experience as a Procurement Manager at National Cement Co. Inc. and National Cement Co of Ca, as well as a Purchasing Supervisor at Emerson Electric Co. Overall, Gerardo Valdes has a strong background in metal sales, catalyst recycling, and procurement management.

Gerardo Valdes has a diverse educational background with a focus on global management and business administration. Gerardo attended CETYS Universidad from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration. In 2002, they pursued a certification in Purchasing from UC San Diego. Gerardo then completed their MBA in Global Management from both Thunderbird School of Global Management and Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.
