Atul Purohit is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software development and data infrastructure. Currently at Gladly since November 2019, Atul focuses on developing frameworks for LLM applications, enhancing NLP search capabilities, optimizing database queries, and building REST APIs while working with technologies such as Postgres, Snowflake, and Looker. Previously at Zendesk from July 2015 to November 2019, Atul served as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a next-generation workflow management system and significantly improving search platform stability and relevance. At Guidewire Software from July 2012 to June 2015, Atul designed a resilient SaaS data platform and implemented advanced data processing technologies. At Williams-Sonoma, Inc. from November 2006 to July 2012, Atul developed international business solutions and optimized inventory allocation algorithms. Proficient in languages including Go and Node, Atul has a proven track record in developing scalable and efficient software solutions.
