Shelby Nelson

Shelby Nelson has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Shelby started as an intern at Art Feeds, where they learned event scheduling, fundraising, and working with children. Shelby then worked as a Sales Associate at Fox Trot Boutique, where they not only handled sales but also managed social media and window displays. In 2018, they simultaneously interned at Fine Art Gallery University of Arkansas and worked as a Summer Intern at Gagosian Gallery. From 2018 to 2021, Shelby worked at David Zwirner, first as a Gallery Assistant and later as a Sales Assistant to the Director. Currently, they hold the position of Sales Assistant to the Director at Large at Gladstone Gallery. With their various roles and experiences, Shelby has developed leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.

Shelby Nelson attended the University of Arkansas from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Fine Arts Painting and Sculpture.
