Kim has a diverse portfolio of executive experience delivering operational and safety improvements including engineering, operations, asset management, production, bulk handling, ports, planning, commercial and resources.
Previously the General Manager Terminal Operations for Pilbara Ports Authority, Australia’s largest port, he has held senior roles across coal export, general cargo, project cargo, LNG export and other bulk commodity exports, including his time as CEO of Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. Kim has previously also served as Chairman for the International Coal Exporting Terminal Operators Association. He has a strong record of continuous improvement, development, and innovation to meet emerging trades and demands.
Kim’s experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration.

Gladstone Ports Corporation manages and operates the Port of Gladstone, including the Gladstone Marina and its recreational parklands, the Port Alma Shipping Terminal, and the Port of Bundaberg. They employ over 700 people across the three precincts to operate their ship loading and train unloading facilities, carry out harbor works, quarry operations, reclamation works, general maintenance, and administration.
