Robert Emmott

Robert Emmott is an experienced executive in financial and corporate services, currently serving as the Executive Director of Financial Services for Glasgow City Council since March 2025. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Executive Director of Corporate Services at Dundee City Council from February 2021 to April 2025. Robert's career also includes a significant tenure as Director of Finance and Corporate Resources at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, spanning from 1999 to February 2021. Robert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Durham University, earned between 1989 and 1992.
