Mairi McDonald

Fashion Design Lecturer at Glasgow Clyde College

Mairi McDonald is a designer and director at their own label, creating luxury womenswear with a rock 'n' roll edge. MAIRI also works as a fashion design lecturer at Glasgow Clyde College, and has experience as a freelance creative consultant for menswear and womenswear brands. With a background in fashion journalism and styling, McDonald has worked as a senior menswear designer for USC and as a womenswear designer for Nocturne. MAIRI holds a postgraduate degree in teaching qualification for further education from the University of Dundee, a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design Technology from the London College of Fashion, and an HND in Fashion Design & Manufacture from Cardonald College.
