John McBride Fcmi

John McBride MA FCMI possesses extensive experience in security, resilience, preparedness, and emergency management. Currently serving as an Associate at The Emergency Planning College since August 2019, John also founded Alderman Services Limited, offering tailored consultancy. As Vice Chair and Board Member at Glasgow Kelvin College since August 2022, John demonstrates leadership in educational governance. In addition, John is a Committee Member at Railpen, representing retired members of the British Transport Police force superannuation fund. Previously, John held multiple roles at British Transport Police from July 1989 to September 2018, culminating in Chief Superintendent, where managerial responsibilities included overseeing operations and resource allocation. Education includes a Master’s degree in Criminal Intelligence Analysis from The University of Manchester and various leadership certifications from the College of Policing and Chartered Management Institute.
