Lawrence Fitzgerald

Lawrence Fitzgerald is an accomplished professional in museum and project management with extensive experience in various prominent roles. Since joining Glasgow Life in 2002, Lawrence has served as Project Leader for the Burrell Project and Museum Manager for the Riverside Museum, in addition to holding the position of Project Director for the Riverside Museum Project. Prior to this, Lawrence worked at Glasgow Culture and Sport from 1998 to 2002 as Project Officer for the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum Refurbishment Project, and earlier from 1993 to 2002 as Senior Curator focusing on technology and design. Lawrence holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and both an MSc and PhD in Metallurgy, along with a BSc in Materials Science, from the University of Manchester.
