Stefan Borsje

Stefan Borsje has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Stefan is currently the Co-Founder and CTO at Glass, where they have played a key role in developing scalable cloud infrastructure, building a high-performance backend, and implementing responsive web frontends using various technologies. Stefan has also integrated secure payment processing and managed all aspects of technology development. Prior to Glass, Stefan worked as a Backend Engineer at GitBook and Versed. Stefan also served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Walter Living. Before that, they worked as a Backend Engineer at Maybe and held various roles at Framer, including Director of Engineering and Lead Backend Engineering. Stefan also has experience working at Amazon Web Services as a Solutions Architecture Manager, where they played a role in hiring and training new solutions architects and educating customers on the value of AWS. Stefan was also Co-founder and CTO at Karma Mobility, Inc., where they built and managed a cross-functional engineering team. Stefan co-founded PressDoc, a PR platform that was acquired by The Next Web, and worked as a Software Engineer at Finalist IT Group, developing web applications and interactive campaigns.

Stefan Borsje attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communications Technology with a focus on Software Engineering and Web Technology. In terms of certifications, Stefan obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) including AWS Certified Security - Specialty in February 2019, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate in December 2016, AWS Certified Developer - Associate in November 2016, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in November 2016, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional in March 2017, and AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional in March 2017. Additionally, Stefan obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp in April 2021.
