Shane O'Grady

Shane O'Grady has extensive experience in the technology industry, with their most recent role being the VP of Engineering at Glassdoor since April 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Glassdoor from March 2020 to April 2021. Before joining Glassdoor, Shane was the Co-Founder and CTO of Love Mondays Brasil, where they played a crucial role in building the largest career community in Brazil from November 2013 to June 2019. Shane also co-founded CentralReservations.com in 2008 and served as the Technical Director until October 2013, leading the company to success. Additionally, Shane worked as the IT Systems Manager and Senior Software Developer/Systems Administrator at CentralR.com from August 2006 to June 2008 and as an Analyst Developer at FlexTime from January 2005 to February 2006. Shane began their career as a Software Developer (.NET) at Eventznet Ltd from September 2003 to December 2004. Throughout their career, Shane has demonstrated expertise in engineering, technical leadership, and startup growth.

Shane O'Grady obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Software Engineering from the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus. Shane pursued their education from 1999 to 2003, specializing in Electronic Engineering and Software Engineering. In addition, they have also earned a certification as a Certified Penetration Testing Specialist from Mile2 in June 2006.
