Jose Ernesto Suarez

Jose Ernesto Suarez is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud engineering, system architecture, and strategic board governance. Currently, as Co-Founder and CEO of Glassity, Suarez is innovating cloud solutions that significantly reduce AWS Compute costs. Suarez has also contributed as a Board Member at Garmer Technologies, focusing on IoT security, and at Suaraust, where efforts are directed towards angel investing in the Estonian startup ecosystem. As a former AWS/GCP Cloud Engineer for UNICC, Suarez led FinOps initiatives to enhance cloud solutions for the organization. Previous experience includes co-founding Wedoops, where technology development for safer solutions was prioritized, and serving in senior roles at RAMINATRANS and SEG Ingeniería, where significant infrastructure and IT strategies were implemented. Suarez began a career shaping Linux migration projects for the Generalitat Valenciana, leading to the development of the Lliurex Linux Distribution. Education was pursued at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
