Boaz Katan

Boaz Katan has extensive work experience in product design and user experience (UX) roles. Boaz is currently serving as the Head of Product at Glassix since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of lead Product Design at Model9 starting from April 2021.

In 2019, Boaz worked as a Community Manager at Local Community where they managed and co-founded Adobe XD Israel, a non-formal Facebook community with over 2.5k active designers. Boaz also conducted practical workshops for designers, product managers, and UX designers.

Before that, Boaz served as a Senior Product Designer at NetApp from July 2019 to April 2021. In this role, they worked closely with product managers to understand requirements and user needs, led the transition to Adobe XD, and ensured alignment with user experience and interface standards for integrating groups.

Boaz's prior experiences include being a UX Lead at CyCognito (December 2018 to August 2019), a UX/UI Designer at IntSights (March 2017 to December 2018), and a UI/UX Designer at NICE Systems (April 2015 to March 2017). Boaz also worked as a UX/UI Designer at wize group media ltd (January 2014 to March 2015), where they designed websites and e-commerce systems while providing UX/UI solutions to clients. Additionally, Boaz owned and ran their own company, bk studio, from January 2011 to January 2013. In this role, they worked with various customers and handled outsourcing work to designers and developers.

Boaz Katan attended the school named "Hasifa" from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a visual communication Certificate. Their degree focused on Design and Visual Communications, General. In December 2016, Boaz obtained a certification titled "Design a Mobile App with Adobe XD" from Lynda.com.
